The Wooden Window Workshop London launch new Sash window restoration website

A report on the London based wooden window restoration company: The Wooden Window Workshop and the launch of their new sash window repair and restoration website.
(1888PressRelease) - The Launch of West London based Sash window Restoration Company, The Wooden Window Workshop is finally here, and it’s about time too! The company already has a huge following in west London and has been trading since 1985 with its famous workshop in Chiswick, the decision to create a website can only mean good things for the rest of London.

The intention to launch the website with a very traditional low tech look and feel is in direct retaliation to most other sash window companies in London who all seem to have websites that can often be quite intimidating and expensive looking to visitors.

The website follows on with the Wooden window workshops traditional old fashioned business values of sash window restoration, not full replacement.

With a huge amount of information about the benefits of restoring period windows as opposed to replacement and the ecological advantages of sash window restoration, visitors will no doubt find the website to be a refreshing change to the hard sell of other Sash window websites currently targeting London.

Talking about the website, Robert Wood, Director of The Wooden Window Workshop commented: ‘We are delighted with the new website. It represents our specialist approach to Sash Window restoration in London and also reflects our historic approach since 1985 to restore what many believe to be part of our architectural heritage. For many years now we have seen many trends come and go, with the eighties we saw the Upvc window arrive, and then the nineties it was all the rage to replace sash window with cheap soft wood versions. Now, many of these soft wood windows are falling apart and with the Upvc windows unserviceable, it is fast becoming the trend to restore sash windows which is both far more cost effective than replacement but also better for the environment too!
