Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC - Alex Beam and the staff at Memory Lane Museum began a tradition back in 2007 when they held the first Legends Helping Legends benefit to raise money for the late Bill Connell. The next two years brought benefits to assist veteran race drivers Sam Ard and recently deceased, "Suitcase" Jake Elder.
